Here’s a great early color shot of the boys. Stu still on bass. I had the privilege of bellying up to the bar with Pete Best one night back in the ‘80s at Beatlefest in Chicago. He was very nice and cordial, and talked for a while. He asked me if I “was a Paul.” He thought I was in Beatlemania or some other tribute band. I said no, I was just a fan. (Hey, am I technically now in a Beatles tribute band with The Remnants?)
“My Pete Best autograph from when I saw his band play in Lafayette. He asked me if I ‘was a Rob.’ I said probably.”
